To the Parents, Community, and Students of Dawson-Bryant Middle School,
A new school year is upon us here at Dawson-Bryant Middle School and we have a lot of exciting news. To begin with, we would like to welcome a few new faces that have joined our staff. Penny Absher joins us as 7th Grade Intervention Specialist. Mrs. Absher brings her wealth of experience and knowledge to our district and has lot of good ideas we plan on implementing in the near future. Next, we have Blaine Fuller whom had just finished his student teaching with us last year. Mr. Fuller has been hired as our 6th Grade Science Teacher. He will also be an assistant with our Middle School Football Team and the Boys 8th Grade Basketball Coach. Lastly, a face that many already know from the Elementary School is Mrs. Dillow. Mrs. Dillow will be teaching 6th Grade Language Arts, her background with the students and knowledge of Language Arts is a great asset to our school. In other news we are happy to say that we are offering Enrichment Classes to those that qualify. The Enrichment Class will be instructed by Mrs. Hamm. Mrs. Hamm has taught math, language arts and even spent some time as a guidance counselor. All of this experience and her zeal for teaching is the perfect fit for the Enrichment Class-we are sure this will provide our students with awesome benefits throughout the year. This year here at the middle school we have decided to have a school motto. Our school motto that will be shared with all those involved is “Take Pride!” Take Pride in school, Take Pride in hard work, Take Pride in your achievements, Take Pride in anything and everything, but Take Pride! Please be part of this attitude and encourage everyone one involved with Dawson-Bryant Middle School to “Take Pride!”
