The group has also organized a "Guitar Hero" tournament.

Key Club - An international service and leadership organization whose major emphasis is on serving the children of the world. The mission of Key Club is to provide its members with opportunities to perform service, build character, and develop leadership among teenagers.

The membership requirements for the DBHS Key Club are as follows:

  • Must maintain at least a 3.0 GPA (students with a GPA between 2.5 and 3.0 may see Mr. Rose for conditional consideration).
  • Students may not have any major discipline referrals
  • Must be able to volunteer at least 40 hours during the school year
  • Must be willing to attend meetings and participate in activities and fundraisers

If you would be interested in making a difference in our school, community, country, or world, please sign up outside Mr. Rose's room.

Club dues for the International and State Key Club are $9.50.

Mu Alpha Theta (Math Club) - The National High School and two-year college Mathematics Honor Society with over 75,000 student members in more than 1,500 schools. We are dedicated to inspiring keen interest in mathematics, developing strong scholarship in the subject, and promoting the enjoyment of mathematics in high school and two-year college students.

Prom Committee - Prom Committee is comprised of any interested Junior willing to take part in fundraising, monthly meetings, and decorating for the prom.  From the beginning of the year until February, the Prom Committee focuses on fundraising.

All members are required to do a specified amount of  fundraising and to be in attendance at meetings in order to be appointed to the Decorating Sub-Committee.  Decorating takes place the week before the prom in the high school gym.

Appointed students decorate at certain times during the school day, as well as after school.  One benefit of being on Prom Committee is that members receive a discount on prom tickets.
