Dawson-Bryant Elementary "Kids Who Care"

Dear Dawson-Bryant Elementary Families,

This year at Dawson-Bryant Elementary School we would like to facilitate community service projects as a way to teach our kids the importance of being kind, caring citizens. It is our goal to reach out to our community and families and build a partnership where we can help others. These simple acts of kindness can make such a difference in the lives of so many. Our first project focused on organ donation and was a HUGE success. Our school raised $600.00 which was donated to Donate Life Ohio and registered 38 organ donors.

Our next project will focus on our military, the brave men and women of the US Armed Forces who risk everything to keep us safe. Throughout the 2nd nine weeks of school, students will have opportunities to research, learn and participate in projects that will benefit our military both at home and abroad. Here are some details:

Goal: Partner with Operation Gratitude and collect 2 shipping boxes full of excess Halloween candy to send to our Troops.

What can we do? Spread the word! Bring in your excess Halloween candy between October 23rd and November 6th . Help us give a sweet treat to our Heroes overseas and here at home!

Please help us do this act of kindness and raise kids who care!!!
