Chegg Weekly Scholarship: Chegg gives away $1,000 every week for a response to a scholarship topic posted on their website.  Your response is limited to 240 characters and should be 2-3 sentences.  The topics are usually interesting.  Applying for this award will take less than ten minutes of your day once a week.  I strongly remind setting a reminder on your phone to complete this each Monday.  Chegg also does a monthly scholarship with the same word and text limits.   Apply for these!

College Departmental Scholarships: When you select a college, additional scholarships may be open and available to you through your prospective academic department.  Often times, departmental scholarships have a separate application process than the college’s financial aid department.

Free Scholarship Resources: The following websites allow you to create profiles.  In turn, you receive personalized scholarships based upon the information you provide on your initial questionnaire.  Never pay to apply for a scholarship or scholarship service.  It is typically a scam.
