POSITION OPENINGS: The Dawson-Bryant Board of Education is accepting applications for the full-time position of Elementary School Safety and Security Director for the 2022-2023 school year. Applicants must have and maintain a valid certification as a Peace Officer in Ohio that enables the individual to carry a gun in a school safety zone, have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED), have and maintain a valid first aid and CPR certification, and have and maintain a valid driver’s license. Applicants must also have relevant experience in law enforcement and/or school safety and security. School Resource Officer (SRO) training and experience highly preferred. Position will have competitive pay, excellent benefit package, and great work hours in a fun and energetic environment.
The Board is also accepting applications for the part-time (less than 30 hours/week) position of Middle School/High School Information Technology (IT) Assistant for the 2022-2023 school year. Applicants must have and maintain a high school diploma or general education degree (GED) as well as a valid driver’s license. Applicants must be proficient in all areas of Information Technology (IT), as the position requires troubleshooting and resolution of hardware, software, and network issues quickly and effectively. Experience in a school setting highly preferred.
