Marshall Trip

On Tuesday, September 30,, 2014, forty Dawson-Bryant High School juniors and seniors had the opportunity to visit Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia, for a campus tour and admissions preview. Students learned about new construction on Marshall’s campus, extracurricular opportunities, and exciting new majors that are now offered at the school. Students then divided into two groups for an hour and a half walking tour of campus. Students toured the library, Harris Hall, a freshman dorm, and the student recreation center. One group of students got to tour the Joan C. Edwards Stadium and stand on the field. Before returning to Coal Grove, students enjoyed lunch in the Towers Cafeteria. Additional campus tours are currently being scheduled.
