The Day of the Dead
The Day of the Dead The Day of the Dead originated in Mexico. It's a combination of Aztec and Catholic traditions. It's a time where they honor and remember loved ones who have passed away by decorating their graves and making altars in their homes with pictures and items that represent them. It begins on Nov 1st and ends on Nov 2nd. The ancient belief was that the souls of their loved ones were able to visit with them once a year at this time.
