Dawson-Bryant High School Students visit Marshall University
On Thursday, September 15, 2016, forty Dawson-Bryant High School students had the opportunity to visit Marshall University for a campus tour. After a brief admissions overview, the group split in half and took an hour walking tour of the Huntington campus. Students had the opportunity to see the library, student recreation center, and classrooms in Harris Hall. The students also had a chance to see the new Buffalo statue on campus and learn the history of the Memorial Fountain outside the Student Center. Following lunch, the students returned to DBHS where they debriefed and asked questions not covered in the presentation. Additional campus visits are scheduled this fall to Wright State University, Morehead State University, and the University of Rio Grande.
