The Dawson-Bryant Elementary Enrichment class will host this year’s first annual Maker Faire. It is to be held during the Parent-Teacher Conference that is scheduled for Thursday, February 16th. The Maker Faire is an event that will celebrate the inventive talents of our students in grades 3-5. Similar to a science fair, the Maker Faire combines mathematics, creativity, and ingenuity, as students utilize original ideas to invent resourceful products. Mathematics concepts are then applied to these products, presentations prepared, and speaking skills polished. Come celebrate and learn at the 2017 Maker Faire!
